This week Lange and Nathan attempt to record an episode for the 3rd time about the second edition release of Strange Aeons! SUCCESS!! Does this new addition to the game add to the already strong first release? What new things have been added to make the dark lives of your Threshold Teams ever darker? Also, in Something Shiny Lange forces Nathan to sit through the dark retelling of the Heroes Reborn pilot as well as the shit that is the first two episodes of Doctor Who… seriously, it takes like 25 minutes, so skip if it you don’t care about either of those things… but totally listen if you want to hear Nathan having his love for these shows crushed into nothing. I really enjoyed the podcast and look forward to the second installment. I wanted to say thanks for bringing SA to my attention quite a while back. I finally picked up the 2e PDF a week ago so this installment was topical.
I thought you would give Strange Aeons a good review but I wasn’t expecting the enthusiasm you discussed it with. You were talking about storybuilding and appreciated the organic/ builder nature of the game. I liked that. Are you sure you are really just tournament players?
I haven’t played yet but I’ve been brainstorming an agency (C.O.R.D.) and painting 1/43 scale old cars. If RAFM mail order didn’t suck balls I’d be painting models too. Yeah, I voted “very” in the weekly poll.
