It appears i have moved to the free digital download model due to finances but i am planning on buying a physical copy when the Blood Angels codex comes out as it is my only army.
I’m a ‘Yes, but.’ Yes, I love digital editions of books. I played 3rd Ed D&D long enough to amass a sizable pile of books that were annoying to lug around, so having the books in a single device (or two) sounds like a great idea.
On the other hand, I love being able to flick through a physical book. Sure, digital editions can be bookmarked for easy searching, but it’s not the same. Also, books never run out of power.
In a perfect world, physical books would come with a code that allowed you to access a digital copy, like Ultraviolet for DVDs/BluRay.
I will always buy the physical book for any army I play. However I do have a collection of all the digital books on my tablet for referenece and ease of transport at tournaments.

I switched to digital then went back to hardback with the lack of support the digital seems to receive. I find I use both when playing a game.
I’m all about the hard copy, I love the feel of the book in my hands and I can flip back and forth.
