This week Lange is joined once again by Matty while Nathan is at GenCon! We crack open the furriest of books by beginning our review of the new Space Wolves Codex. Will this new book break the mold from the now lengthening trend of stale releases from Games Workshop? Will the word ‘wolf’ be uttered so much that one of us vomits? Listen and enjoy!

Definitely agree that the fetishization of marines has gone too far. A sculpted shoulder pad with a winged blood drop or a wolf pelt here and there is fine, but it has definitely gotten out of hand, and the overdone models have driven me away from marines lately. I think that GW has gotten carried away with what they are able to do with the technology and forget that sometimes less is more and it’s often better to have a few special details to draw the eye instead of loading each bit down with bling. Like an overdone guitar solo, it shows that yes you may have some skill, but at some point rein it in and get back to the damn songs.
Apologies for not leaving any more crabbies to help soothe the wounds.
