  1. Hey,
I have started to enjoy your podcast. I will admit it was a bit rough at first because the “Jaded” part can be a bit negative at times. I decided to post because in ep179 you mentioned the price of the new Flashgits. At $65 for 5 that comes to $13 each. I am not saying that is not expensive, but keep in mind prices from some other companies. X-Wing is the hot new game and one single X-Wing fighter costs $14.95. That model is about the same size as an ork, is not made of nearly as good quality of material, and is painted okay (for a pre-painted mini). The thing is that I have not seen anyone complain about those prices, but they will complain about GW prices. Why do you think that is? Shouldn’t we, as gamers, keep that in mind before criticism is thrown around? I know you need more models for 40k than X-Wing, but that is a factor of the game and not of the relative value of the product. What do you think?

    • I see what you are saying Steven, however keep in mind that Attack Wing packs aren’t so much about the models as they are about the cards, tokens, and scenario that comes in a pack along with the ship. There is also a difference when you know you only need to buy 1 ship in order to use it as opposed to needed 2-3 boxes of Flashgits (I suspect) in order to play the unit effectively.

  2. Play cards against humanity and try to tell me that humorous boardgames aren’t the best out there! What is better than being able to throw down a “mechahitler” card 😛

    Still loving the cast guys
