It really depends on whether or not you can play the cauldron as the models with the murderess prowess within 6″ reroll all to wounds, not just combat. Right now it reads that it does but I’d wait till the first FAQ ever comes out to play it that way.
So I voted no, simply because while RCB’s are hands down the best core choice, I don’t think that you can beat a 125 point 2nd level wizard that has +3 to cast doombolt, 5 wounds, 10 poisoned str 4 attacks, 5 str 3 attacks, a 4+ ward save and can move like light cavalry.
So lets talk about the moose on the table. 2 episodes ago Nathan mentioned that GW couldn’t model anything good with wheels on. So in true form it appears that they have completely omitted the wheels from the Cold one Chariot. This has to be hands down the stupidest design move to date, that chariot will be bouncing behind those CO’s like a tin can behind a newly weds car.
I am ambivalent about the Black ark fleetmaster. Kinda nice and piratey (yes that’s a word from now on). My reservation is that he has a sword for a pegleg. Nice idea piss poor execution. That thing is going to dig into pretty much any surface other than rock, pinning him in place and giving him an effective radius while he pivots around on the spot for the rest of the game.
At least its an easy fix, a rum cork or elf skull will fix the problem.

I think the 4+ save on the corsairs with AHW are the better unit now.
