Here’s where I stand on this: I will always take a model if it’s completely badass. However!… If a model is fucking horrendous, but the rules are so amazingly fantastic or they fit into my theme so perfectly that it’s worth the effort… I WILL find alternatives or convert them out of whatever I need to. But I will never take that horrible awful model no matter how good the rules are.
Which puts my vote soundly under aesthetics. But I don’t think that comes as a surprise to anyone
I value Aesthetics more than Rules, but I generally heavily convert/re-sculpt most of my models, which means that I can give ‘ugly’ models with good rules a total makeover and be happy with them on both accounts (in short I’m a power player that can ‘cheat’ on the model’s Aesthetic, while keeping a strait face…)
